NIKKI &
GO2GURU

“A well-read life…..enriched by one inspiring book at a time”
Go2Guru is the brainchild of Nikki Goldstein. After a successful career as an author and journalist, Nikki decided to focus on digital publishing. She describes this decision as a moment of spontaneous inspiration, driven by a desire to contribute in a meaningful way. As a way to overcome the sluggishness of traditional publishing, Nikki saw digital publishing as an opportunity to express herself and utilize the remarkable technologies available to writers, allowing her to publish her work in half the time while maintaining control from idea to execution.
Go2Guru will publish a range of authors’ works, creating a rich tapestry of ideas and championing unique perspectives. “The media, and book publishing in particular, is in at the beginning of a paradigm shift where the old-world power players are now competing with new, interesting, inclusive and risk-taking indie publishers. I feel like I’ve arrived at the perfect moment for the digital revolution,” Nikki says.
In an era defined by innovation and limitless potential, Nikki Goldstein’s Go2Guru emerges as a beacon of creativity, offering a platform where voices resonate, ideas flourish, and the future of publishing shines with promise.

Nikki’s Story

In September 2022, after a long battle with chronic illness, Nikki found herself in the Intensive Care Unit at Sydney’s St Vincent’s Hospital with severe pneumonia. Within 24 hours of admission, Nikki’s breathing was so laboured she was informed she would be dead within a few hours if they didn’t put her on a ventilator. “Nothing focuses the mind so much as being told death is imminent”, she says. After giving consent, Nikki was intubated. However, before she went under, she managed to text a few friends with the request, “Pray for me”.
While she was in an induced coma, Nikki says she could “literally feel the prayers of friends and family willing her back to health”. After a couple of days, when doctors had almost lost hope for her recovery, the antibiotics started to kick in, and Nikki was brought out of the coma. “I felt all the love embracing me. It was like sunshine enveloping me and bringing me back to life”, she said.
A few months after being released from the hospital, Nikki felt compelled to do something meaningful in the next chapter of her life. “It struck me like an explosion in my chest that I wanted to make a contribution, and I didn’t know how long I’d have to do it. My life had been on pause long enough; this felt urgent”, she explains.
Go2Guru is that contribution. “I want to provide people with powerful solutions to their problems. I understand, as well as anyone, the pain of feeling powerless in the face of life’s challenges. However, what we can control is how we perceive those problems. That’s the secret sauce: Our books are dedicated to empowering readers, giving them control over their mindset, providing information, and above all, fostering self-love”.
Nikki Goldstein is the author of 13 books and an awarded copywriter and journalist. She began her career at Vogue and went on to hold senior editorial positions at Elle and Marie-Claire. Nikki is well known for her successful GirlForce, a teen-girl self-empowerment series.
